IGNITION COILS
The ignition coil is an important part of the ignition system. Sure, you want to hear that engine roar, so fitting your ignition system with yet another Champion®high-tech & super performant part is just the best turn on for your engine.
Ignition Coils to give your driving experience that decisive spark
The ignition coil provides the necessary high voltage and ignition energy for producing the high voltage sparks at the spark plug. Champion® ignition coils are developed to match both your vehicle and your own requirements, with or without built-in electronic module and are manufactured by computer-controlled technology.
Pencil Coils
Technical Features
- Mounted directly on the spark plug
- Extremely temperature resistant
- High-value materials for optimum ratio of weight to volume
- With or without electronics module depending on the vehicle type
Plug Top Coils
Technical Features
- Mounted directly on the spark plug
- Extremely temperature resistant
- With or without interference suppressed spark plug and electronic module depending on the vehicle type
Ignition Coil Rails
Champion coil rails – the alternative to pencil coils or plug top coils / coil on plugs.
Technical Features
- Simple mounting on the engine
- As double spark or single spark technology
Block Ignition Rails
Technical Features
- Extremely temperature resistant
- Static high voltage distribution
- Double spark coils with and without integrated electronics modules for 4, 5 and 6 cylinder vehicles
Coils for Ignition Systems with Ignition Distributors
In coils with ignition distributors, the generated high voltage goes from the coil to the distributor. The distributor distributes this high voltage to the corresponding spark plugs.
Distributor Ignition Coils (Single Ended Coils)
Technical Features
- Extremely temperature resistant
- For vehicles with transistor ignition
- High quality materials for optimum weight-volume ratio
- With mounted or integrated electronics module
Bottle Coils/Cylinder Coils
Technical Features
- Extremely temperature resistant
- Rotating high voltage distribution
- For vehicles of older generations with contact-controlled battery ignition
- Million times proven solution
